We all know that photography and Photoshop go hand in hand. Nowadays it's difficult to find images in the mainstream media that haven't been edited in some way or another and so many people have that "shoot-now-fix-it-in-post" mentality. To produce a truly great photograph, careful thought and consideration needs to be applied beforehand. It doesn't matter how well you can use Photoshop, the rule still applies - if you start off with a bad foundation in your image, no amount of editing will save you.
